Watermelon Kombucha

Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup watermelon
  • 15-20 mint leaves
  • 1 cup Kombucha
For Garnish
  • mint sprigs, handful
  • 4 slices lemon
  • 4 slices lime
  • ¼ cup Tajin

Equipment

  • 1-gallon glass jar
  • Cutting board and knife
  • Blender or food processor
  • Fine mesh strainer or cheesecloth
  • Funnel
  • Airtight bottles or jars for storage

Method
 

  1. Start by preparing the watermelon. Remove the rind and seeds, and cut the watermelon flesh into small pieces
  2. Using a blender, blend the cubed watermelon and strain it. Rim your glass with tajin.
  3. To your glass add in a handful of twisted mint leaves and then pour ice cubes into the glass.
  4. Pour about ½ a cup of the fresh watermelon juice into the glass followed by ½ a cup of the plain kombucha.
  5. Stir all the ingredients together, garnish the drink with some mint leaves, lime, and lemon slices, and enjoy!
